Meet Hannah
Hello! My name is Hannah Im. I am a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist servicing the Greater Toronto Area. I provide services in English and Korean.
Fascinated by the human mind, I studied Psychology in Toronto, Ontario, specializing in Developmental Psychology and Psycholinguistics. I then obtained a Master of Communication Disorders and Speech-Language Pathology in London, Ontario. I have an internationally recognized certification in Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC), and am registered in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).
I currently work as a medical Speech-Language Pathologist and Regional Project Management Lead, supporting 7 major health organizations across Central East Ontario. I have a wide spectrum of experience, including preschool speech and language services, school-age speech and language services, acute care dysphagia, stroke/neurological speech and language rehabilitation, and accent modification.
I founded Olive Tree Speech Pathology Services in hopes to empower clients across their communication spectrum. The key values that drive the practice are resilience and hope. As such, the clinic is named after one of the most resilient trees known, the olive tree. It is also a symbol of peace and friendship. 현재 토론토 대학병원에서 언어장애 및 연하장애 치료사로 근무하고 있으며, 온타리오 동부 지역 7개의 병원을 컨설팅 하고 있습니다. 온타리오 주 다양한 지역에서 언어, 발음, 음성장애 등 여러가지 치료 경험이 있습니다.

Hyunji received her Master of Health Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Toronto. Hyunji has practiced as a speech-language pathologist in Seoul and Pyeongtaek in South Korea, providing culturally-sensitive speech and language services to multilingual communities, including international schools, US military families, and multicultural families.
Hyunji is passionate about working with children and adults with motor speech (Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Acquired Apraxia, Speech Motor Delay) / articulation disorders, stuttering, language delay, aphasia, and cognitive communication disorders. She also loves supporting non-speaking individuals and individuals who benefit from augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
